Grades - ***When checking current grades, remember to use the "Classwork" tab. The "Grades" tab will only show the latest report card grades.*** The easiest way to monitor your child’s academic progress is to check their grades online at E-school Home Access Center (HAC). Grades are updated frequently, but it does take time for teachers to grade assignments and tests, and to enter scores into the gradebooks. Gradebooks are generally updated at least every two weeks. "EX" as a grade usually means that the assignment was turned in, but not yet graded. It sometimes is used for assignments that have been excused by the teacher. "EX" grades do not help nor do they hurt the percentage until a numerical value is inputted as a grade. If a score has an additional .1, this means the assignment was turned in late and the whole number score is what they earned. Mid quarters, each student will bring home a progress report, and students will bring home report cards at the end of each quarter. You can also contact your child’s teachers if you have questions or concerns.
